The fall 2021 application is now open! New this year, we have testless admission options for students who cannot take a standardized test due to testing date cancellations.
Apply to WVUThe academic deposit saves your place in our incoming class and allows you to continue the admissions process. You cannot pay this deposit until you have been admitted.
Pay academic depositAfter paying the academic deposit, apply for housing and complete your profile. The sooner you apply, the sooner you’ll know where you’ll be living.
Apply for housingNext is NSO, where you’ll register for your first semester classes, hear from faculty
and students and learn to navigate campus like a pro. Registration for NSO typically
opens in March.
Adventure WV first-year trips are optional (but highly recommended!). Register early to secure your spot in your first-choice trip.

Julie coordinates our K-12 outreach program including the Engineering Challenge Camps in the summer. She also manages our student ambassador program. Julie joined WVU in 2022 after 5 years as a middle school science teacher.
