The Statler College offers undergraduate scholarships to incoming students. One application puts the student into consideration for all of the College's general scholarships for incoming first time freshmen or first time transfers for fall 2025.
Incoming student requirements
Incoming students must be admitted to the Statler College to be considered for these scholarships.
The application period for new students for academic year 2025-26 starts October 1, 2024 and ends Thursday, February 2, 2025. Students admitted after the application period closes are not eligible for consideration for the 2025-2026 academic year and will be encouraged to apply in fall 2025 for the 2026-2027 Statler College Academic Scholarship for current students.
Students selected for a scholarship will be notified during the spring 2024 semester.
Scholarship award amounts vary from $500 - $2,000.
The Statler College Incoming Student Scholarship award would be in addition to any other scholarship you may be awarded through WVU. The Statler College Incoming Student Scholarship is not renewable. Eligibility for these funds is dependent upon continued enrollment in the Benjamin M. Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources.
