The environmental engineering program will focus on developing engineering skills,
understanding the principles of sustainability, and applying those skills and principles
to problems related to air and water quality, treatment of anthropogenic waste
streams, management of water resources, and environmental health. The program will
prepare next-generation environmental engineers who are:
- Knowledgeable about contemporary environmental and related issues in the global context,
- Capable of identifying, analyzing, and defining environmental problems, and
- Equipped with skills to develop and design solutions for sustainable development.
